Affordable Winter Smokey Eye

Hey guys!
So, winter is around the corner, and I thought I would do a simple eye tutorial that fits in nicely with the snowy weather :D I have done this blue tones smokey eye with affordable products, so it shouldn't be too difficult to recreate. of course, this really isn't an every-day look, but if you are going to a party, or out on a date, or you just want to dress up your look, then i think this will be perfect for you!

Steps to make a simple winter smokey eye:
1. Prime your eyes! (This is a must! You should always prime your eyes before you do any eye makeup, so that your makeup can last all day, and not crease) I recommend using a white, pearlescent primer to make the dark colours really pop.

2. Outline your natural contour of your eye with a black, smudgeable liner. Don't worry if this looks messy, we are going to smudge this out later.

3. Smudge the black liner! You can use a smudger to smudge out the rest of the colour on the lid. (smudgesmudgesmudge) Use a blending brush to blend the colour through the crease, and blend out any harsh lines.

4. Apply sapphire blue liner on the outer "V" of your eyes

5. Smudge the blue liner with a smudger (god...I need a new adjective for "smudge"...)

6. With the same blue liner, apply some colour on your water line, and on your lower lash line. Connect this liner with the edges of the outer "V" to bring the look together.

6.Pack on shimmery blue eye shadow on the center of the lid. (TIP: Use mac fix +, or water, and apply this to your brush before hand. This increases the density of the shadow, and therefore it will apply more intensely)

7. Use a light blue waterproof liner on the inner corners of your eye to add a pop of colour.
Add mascara, some highlighter on your brow bone, and you are set to go. See? It's simple :D And you barely have to use any products at all!

Products used:

Inexpensive products:
Elf Eyelid Primer in pearl
Covergirl Perfect Plus Eye Pencil in #205 charcoal
Maybelline Unstopable eyeliner in sapphire
Rimmel Scandaleyes waterproof kohl kajal in 008 light blue
Maybelline Eye studio baked eye shadow duo.
(Checked shade is the light blue one that I used across the lid)
